A Facebook Bug Causes Lots of Headaches To Developers

Facebook logo

I had a good day yesterday. After spending almost six hours debugging a problem with Internet Explorer (yeah, old news) and a Drupal based Facebook application we're writing for 49st I finally found a solution.

However, this morning I found that the same code that was working yesterday showed some nasty error message. What now?

Google, Please Tell Me How Many Dollars There Are in 150 Euros

That's an easy one, just type: 150 euros to dollars and you are done.

But of course you already knew how to use Google as a calculator. I may be the last guy on Earth to find out.

Snipplr: A del.icio.us-like Code Repository

While searching for ideas to limit how many characters an HTML textarea could accept using Javascript, I found Snipplr, a service that reminds me how easy to use is del.icio.us. By the way, the del.icio.us guys are working on a new platform and trying (is possible?) to improve their UI.

Snippler allows you to save, search and tag those small pieces of code that we use so many times in our projects, snippets.

I know this may not be the first site doing it but it helped me and possibly would help you. Worth taking a look.
